Aasif Khan (MD) Aasif believes that no one should ever have to die because they could not access or afford life-saving medicines. He brings his mission to life through Fabtech and the Life Engineering ethos. Aasif thrives on creating connections and synergies for greater impact and is passionate about leveraging technology and innovation to drive positive change and social impact. He believes that building pharmaceutical capability in countries and regions that need it most will enable global self-sufficiency in life-saving medicines. He is a firm believer in the power of conversation to drive actionable change. His great loves are his children and old Hindi songs.

Hemant Anavkar (Director) Hemant is our technology guru. He is deeply passionate about knowing how things work. His substantial knowledge of every aspect of the business, whether R&D, design, engineering, production and sales allow him to address every customer problem through multiple perspectives. He will break every problem down to its barest components and then build a solution that addresses known and anticipated challenges. To him, Life Engineering is the human side of technology. It is about leveraging technology to make a difference to the world. He derives a deep sense of fulfilment from mentoring young people to achieve their potential. For Hemant, learning is a deliberate and voluntary act and one that he pursues with zeal.

Aarif Khan (Director & Business Head – Fabsafe) Aarif leads our Fabsafe business operations at Fabtech. His tremendous business sense, microscopic eye for detail and extensive knowledge of our factory operations have played a key role in Fabtech’s evolution into a global leader in the pharma engineering space. He has a very down to earth approach and is famous within the company and outside for his superlative crisis management skills. For him, life engineering is about equalising the healthcare playing field, so everyone has the same access to medicines. Aarif is a philanthropist who gives back to the community at every opportunity. He has a quirky sense of humour and is quite the shaayar (poet).

ASHWANI SINGH (CEO) Ashwani is responsible for international operations and corporate strategy at Fabtech. His rich and varied career spanning over 27 years has encompassed a whole spectrum of leadership responsibilities across the business and strategy function. From Grasim Industries, Vam Organic Chemicals, Jubilant Organosys, TEVA, Regent Drugs, Watson, Actavis, Allergan Pharmaceuticals, Piramal and Flex he has been recognised for his achievements. He is a sought after speaker at events and conferences. To him, Fabtech is the start of many new challenges and opportunities. He believes that by building capability and making medicines affordable and accessible Fabtech is creating value for customers. He makes time from his busy schedule for long drives, reading and movies.

Saroja Chandan (Executive Director) Saroja leads our start-to-finish projects business globally. She started her career at Fabtech fifteen years ago as a Design Engineer. She believes Fabtech with its distinct mission and core values stands apart from other companies. She resonates with the gender agnostic culture, rare for an engineering company, and is proud to have played a role in its evolution. To her, Life Engineering is the impetus she needs to excel at everything she undertakes, every minute of the day. She finds joy in being part of a larger purpose and contributing to making the world a happier, healthier place. Saroja is a voracious reader (books are her constant companion on her frequent travels) and loves music and finds time to back to the community whenever she isn’t on the road.
